Delete Your Account & Data

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, squad memberships, messages, tasks, Reputation Points (RP), and unused Covenant Credits (CC). CC purchase records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations.

Method 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Covenant app:

  1. Open the Covenant app and sign in to your account
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen
  4. Tap Delete Account (shown in red)
  5. Confirm the first dialog — tap Continue
  6. Confirm the second dialog — tap Delete My Account
  7. Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out

All data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of the deletion request.

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request via email:

Subject: ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST

Include in the email: Your registered email address and/or username

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before proceeding.

What Gets Deleted

  • • Your profile (name, username, avatar, bio)
  • • Email address and account credentials
  • • Squad memberships and history
  • • All messages sent in squad chats
  • • Task completion records and check-ins
  • • Reputation Points (RP) balance and transactions
  • • Unused Covenant Credits (CC) balance
  • • Health and fitness data
  • • Verification photos submitted
  • • Notification preferences

↓ Retained (Legal Requirement)

  • • CC purchase transaction records — retained for 7 years under Indian Income Tax Act and financial regulations
  • • These records are stored securely, access is restricted to authorised personnel for compliance purposes only, and are never used for marketing

Deletion Timeline

  • In-App Deletion: Your auth credentials are removed immediately. All personal data is purged within 30 days.
  • Email Request: We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days of verification.
  • Purchase Records: Retained for 7 years per Indian financial law, then permanently deleted.
